Accept Your Reward

Are there times when you've done something helpful for someone and they may try to offer you something as thanks for your deed? You decline the offer because you didn't do it looking for repayment, you just wanted to be helpful and you're being humble. We all know that you receive your blessings from helping others so you just feel good that you were able to help.

Galatians 6:7-10 (New King James Version) 7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Well did you ever stop to consider that the offering from the other person is your blessing??? Think...they offered you money or food and you said no thank you but later you walk away and think, "I sure could have used that" or "I really am hungry". Well stop tryin gto be so humble and be thankful and receive that reward! Not only are you being blessed but you're allowing that person to sow blessings upon themselves. Don't block their blessing and ability to feel good about being able to do something good for you.

Accept your reward!
