You say you believe; But you don't!

You say you believe the Word, but you don’t. God’s Word says ‘In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:6) And though you claim to want God to lead you and to direct you, you won’t ‘acknowledge Him’ in everything you do; every place you go or in everything you say. You say you believe the Word, but you don’t.

God’s Word says, when you ask of God, ask in faith, without wavering….otherwise, don’t expect to receive anything. But time after time, you have prayed and believed for a little while; then your faith would begin to waver…and instead of praising God for the victory, you are complaining that you are defeated. You say you believe the Word, but you don’t!

God’s Word says, ‘He shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.’ But you are stressed out about your bills, believing that your money and your blessings can only come through certain places and certain people. You say you believe the Word, but you don’t.

God’s Word says, ‘Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are adultery, fornication, uncleannesss, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.’ (Galatians 5:19-21) So you say you’re a child of God and you desire to have eternal life, and to have a relationship with God, etc. Yet you still practice the works of the flesh, when the Word is clear in saying that when you practice such things, you will not inherit the kingdom of God. You say you believe the Word, but you don’t.

God’s Word says, ‘Nothing is impossible with God.’ Yet, when you are going through rough situations and circumstances, that seem to be too overwhelming for you; you act like God can’t fix; He can’t change it; He can’t turn it around. You say you believe the Word, but you don’t.

God’s Word says He’s a healer and a deliverer; His Word says He will protect us; that He is our refuge and our fortress. His Word says He will never leave nor forsake us; He is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us. His Word says He loves you; He’s your Father and He is all-knowing, all-powerful, and everywhere at the same time! So, why are you depressed, giving up on certain people and letting go of your dream; why are you fearful, filled with guilt or shame? Why do you feel alone and in despair? You say you believe the Word, but you don’t!

Be a believing believer! Either the Word is true or it’s not. You have to believe the Word, when the odds are against you and the world doesn’t understand. You have to believe the Word is true when you feel like crying and your flesh wants to run away. You have to believe that God is faithful and He is able; He loved you first and He loves you most!
“We love Him, because He first loved us.” I John 4:19

“God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?
Numbers 23:19 NIV

Do you really believe? God doesn’t lie; if He said it, then it is so! Amen!

Love somebody today who doesn’t love you; doesn’t care about you; won’t repay you, can’t repay you and doesn’t want to repay you…then you will be treating them the way God treated you…
