BE STILL!

"Be still and know that I am God;." Psalm 46:10

The Word today is quick, simple and to the point. Be still! Don't try to make anything happen. Don't try to rush anything to happen. Don't try to manipulate anyone into doing anything. Just keep your mind on Christ, surrender to God's will and let Him work it out! Be still and listen for instructions! Be still.

If you are still, you can hear:
"And Moses said unto them, 'Stand still, and I will hear what the Lord will command concerning you." Numbers 9:8 KJV
If you are still, you can watch God fight the battle:
"Ye shall not need to fight in this battle; set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord." II Chron. 20:17a

It is great to pray, but then you need to be still and listen. It is great to do your part, but sometimes you need to be still so you won't get in God's way. There are some things that God will instruct us to do, and we must be careful to do them; however, there is also a time to be still so that God can do what we can’t do. Be still!

While waiting for an answer, be still! When you don't know what to do, be still! When you are overwhelmed, be still! When you are feeling pressured, be still! When you are hearing too many voices of instruction, be still! Wait and listen for God's voice! Wait and let God go before you!
Be still!
