“And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.” Mark 5:40

One of the rulers of the synagogue had come to Jesus, because his daughter was sick (almost at death). Before Jesus headed to the house where the little girl was, someone came and told the ruler that the little girl had died. Jesus told the ruler, ‘just believe.’
When Jesus arrived at the ruler’s house people were crying and mourning. Jesus said, ‘The child is not dead, but sleeping.” The Bible says that they laughed at Jesus; they ridiculed Him. So Jesus put them out! After Jesus had put them out, THEN He went in with the parents and His 3 disciples (believers), and He told the girl to arise….and she did. Sometimes you have to leave the non believers behind, in order for the miracle to happen; because without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). Tell them ‘You can laugh if you want to!’

People may laugh; they may say it is impossible…they can’t see it and they don’t believe it! Sometimes you have to leave them in their unbelief, in order for you to see the miracle. Who will you believe, God or man? Will you walk by faith or by sight? Faith is not about you believing in what you can do; faith is about believing what God will do. Faith is not about believing after something happens; faith is about believing something when you can’t see it.

Don’t let people’s unbelief keep you from your miracle. Let them laugh; let them talk. Move into the place you’re going, with the people who believe that God can. Jesus moved into the little girl’s room with those who believed that He could.

Remember, ‘without faith it is impossible to please God.’ ‘With men it is impossible, but with God nothing is impossible.’

Love somebody today who doesn’t love you; doesn’t care about you; won’t repay you, can’t repay you and doesn’t want to repay you…then you will be treating them the way God treated you…
